宏商船务代理有限公司 于一九七四年八月在台北创立，设立初期以揽货为主，代台湾开往波斯湾、红海、西非航轮招揽货载，而后逐渐成为多加东南亚、印度洋、南非及欧洲航线定期班轮之台湾总代理。
由于业务拓展，在一九八二年宏商与新加坡公司合资经营船东业务，购置三艘木材船自印尼装原木北上至台湾，卸货后由台湾装杂货南下印尼各港口。
自成立以来，所经历过之业务：

由于良好服务普遍受到货方肯定，尤其台湾各大企业认同与支持，宏商之揽货能力常令船东满意。
Horizon Shipping Co.,Ltd was established at Taipei in August 1974. At the initial stage, Horizon acted as cargo booking agent for vessels sailing from taiwan for Persian Gulf, Red Sea and West Africa. Thereafter, Horizon has upgraded its service as General Agent representing serveral liners performed regular voyages for ports of South East Asia, Indian Ocean, South Africa and Europe.
Forward to the growth, Horizon by joint stock with a Singapore firm in 1982, purchased three log carriers operating northbound round log and southbound general cargo between Taiwan and Indonesia.
Since Establishment, Horizon has been involving:

4. General Agent for conventional ships
5. General agent for break bulk carriers
6. General Agent for container vessels
7. Chartering agent and cargo broker
